How do I make a deposit?
You can deposit funds:
- By mail (do NOT mail cash)
- At branch location
- Drop deposit in Night Deposit
What kinds of checks are acceptable for deposit?
Checks which are made directly payable to the depositor and properly endorsed. See How do I make a deposit? The depositor must sign government checks or other checks displaying a "signature required" stamp.
How long does it take for my deposit to be credited to my account?
Direct deposits are credited to accounts on the day designated when the direct deposit was set up. Please allow sufficient time after making a deposit before writing a check or making a withdrawal that would be covered by the funds deposited. Some deposits may not be available until the check clears.
How can I change my address and phone information?
You may call us at our branch location, or you can send us a written and signed request with the following information:
- The new address and phone number you are changing to
- The old address and phone number you are changing from
- Your account number
- Your name and signature
Are the funds I deposited in Home Savings of America insured?
Since Home Savings of America is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), your money is insured by the FDIC up to $100,000 for each account owner.

This Federal Law was enacted in 2001 in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Among its provisions is a requirement that all financial institutions must verify the identity of new customers by obtaining certain specified information.
